How to sell Donut SMP money

Before you start

You need three things:

• Money on your Donut SMP account, at least 250M, and the ability to send it with /pay.
• A crypto wallet address. If you have never had one, a Litecoin wallet takes five minutes to set up on a phone. It is where your payout lands, so it has to be yours, not a friend's.
• An email address or a Discord account, so we can reach you if the chat goes quiet.

Step 1: get a price

On the front page, type how much you are selling and pick the coin you want. The amount is in millions, so 1000 means 1B. You see what you get before you commit to anything, and the current rate is public.

Litecoin and Solana arrive fastest and cost us the least to send, which is why Litecoin is the default. Bitcoin and Ethereum are available from 4B and up, because their network fees are too high to make sense on smaller amounts.

Step 2: place the order

Press Exchange and fill in your wallet address, your Minecraft IGN and one way to reach you. Bedrock players: your IGN has a dot in front of it on Donut SMP, and it belongs there.

Check the wallet address character by character. We verify that it fits the coin you chose and warn you if it looks like it belongs to another network, but no one can tell whether an address is yours. Crypto sent to the wrong address is gone.

When you place the order, the rate and the coin price are locked and written onto the order. A price swing while you are in-game cannot change what you get.

Step 3: keep your order page

You get a private link. That page is your whole relationship with us: the status, the locked rate, the payout amount and the chat with the agent. There is no account and no password, so keep the link. Anyone with it can see the order.

Step 4: send the money with /pay

The agent messages you in the order chat with the account to pay. Send exactly the amount on the order:

/pay AccountName 500000000

Only pay the account named in your own order chat. We never message you first, on Discord or in-game, asking for money. If someone does, it is not us. More on that in how /pay works.

Nervous about going first? Say so in the chat and we will split the order into parts, and pay each part before you send the next. It costs you nothing extra.

Step 5: get paid

The agent confirms the amount that arrived and sends your crypto by hand, usually within about ten minutes. You get the transaction ID on your order page, so you can follow the payment on the blockchain yourself instead of taking our word for it.

Sent less than you ordered? The payout is recalculated at the same locked rate for what actually arrived. Nothing is lost, it is just smaller.

How long it takes

• Litecoin and Solana: usually a few minutes from us pressing send.
• Bitcoin: longer when the network is busy, sometimes an hour.
• Ethereum: normally quick, but the fee varies a lot.

The slow part is almost never us. It is the blockchain, and you can watch it happen with the transaction ID.

What it costs

Nothing on top. The rate already includes everything, and we pay the blockchain fee for sending your payout. The amount shown on your order page is the amount that arrives.
